HACKATHON
Programmers, developers, designers, and other professionals come together at a hackathon to collaborate and come up with original solutions to a specific problem or challenge. Hackathons usually last between one and three days and entail long, intense work hours. "Hackathon" is a combination of the words "hack" and "marathon." In this context, the terms "hack" and "marathon" allude to the process of quickly and creatively addressing difficulties and the prolonged hours and strong concentration necessary to accomplish a project, respectively.
